Balloon Flight in the Hunter -Vol dans une Mongolfiere dans la vallee Hunter

A very early start today.....up at 04.00 for a rendezvous at 5.15 for our balloon flight over the Hunter Valley with Balloon Aloft www.balloonaloft.com/huntervalley. Only just dawn when we prepared the balloon, first with cold air and then with the burners before taking off

Nous nous sommes leves de tres bonne heure aujourdhui - 4.00 pour un rendezvous a 5.15 pour notre vol Mongolfiere dans la vallee Hunter avec Balloon Aloft, www.balloonaloft.com/huntervalley.  C'etait l'aube quand nous avons tous prepare le mongolfiere, et la rempli d'abord avec de l'air froid, et puis avec les bruleurs avant de monter.

Then it was up and away with four balloons and 54 people.........us four and a group of fifty from a company having a conference in the Hunter Valley

Nous etions montes avec 4 mongolfieres et 54 gens - nous 4 et une groupe de 50 d'une entreprise qui visitait la Vallee.

While up at approximately 350 metres there were some exceptional views of the whole of the valley including the Hermitage hotel where we stayed

A 350m, il y avait des vues exceptionnelles, y compris l'hotel Hermitage ou nous restions.

We landed after about an hour in a field full of kangaroos, perhaps over 60 animals

Nous avons atteri apres une heure dans un champs plein de kangaroos, peut-etre plus de 60 animaux.

Packing up the balloon with our driver, who was a little like crocodile dundee (below) was simply done and the rig was then available for the next flight

Nous avons replie la mongolfiere prete pour le prochain vol avec notre chauffeur, qui etait un peu comme Crocodile Dundee

It was then off for a champagne breakfast before continuing our morning in the Hunter Valley

Puis un petit dejeuner au champagne, et c'etait seulement 8.30!


Our final visit was to the Hunter Brasserie....a micro brewery producing a small range of beers

Notre derniere visite etait a la Brasserie Hunter - une petite brasserie qui produisait une petite quantite de bieres.

Back then to Sydney for dinner with Jo, Greg and Sam in an excellent Italian Restaurant - Pastabella http://www.pastabella.net.au/ with Sam and his favorite meat balls

Puis nous sommes rentres a Sydney pour diner dans un resto excellent, Pastabella, avec Jo, Greg et Sam avec son repas prefere, les meatballs!
